Studies on veneer grafting in four cultivars of mango [in Bangladesh]  [1984]

The mango cultivar Langra gave the highest percentage of success in veneer grafting (48.5%), followed by local varieties: Gopalbhog (35.9%) Khirsapati (35.3%) and Fazlee (34.3%). June 13 operation was found to be the best for veneer grafting in all the four cultivars under the climatic conditions of Chapai Nowabganj, Bangladesh. The percentage of success were lower in the earlier or later dates of grafting operation.
