Résumé
Dead as well as live Steinernema asiaticum, S. glaseri, Heterorhabditis indica and H. bacteriophora were tested against Meloidogyne incognita. S. asiaticum, S. glaseri, H. indica and H. bacteriophora proved helpful in suppression of M. incognita as compared to a control. Lower numbers of females were recorded in EPN treatments. Results indicated that the both dead as well as live Entomopathogenic nematodes and their bacterial symbionts produced toxins and were responsible for lower invasion by M. incognita in tomato.
