We studied the nutritional value of the integrated plant of legumes (Glycine maximum, two Cuban varieties of Vigna unguiculata, Viñales 144 and Habana 82, Vigna radiata and Clitoria ternatea) taking as criteria some indicators of the chemical composition of these vegetables. We applied the Gravimetric Enzimatic Method to determine the content of insoluble dietetic fiber (% DB) to these food sources: 50.7, 53.3, 59.2, 47.3 and 54.3 respectively. The values of total nitrogen (% DB) were: 2.9, 2.8, 2.6 and 3.0. The nitrogen structively associated to the insoluble dietetic fiber as proportion of the total nitrogen (% dB) reached 36.3, 40.7, 38.0, 37.8 and 31.9. These values were related in an apposite way to the nitrogen in vitro digestibility (85.2, 74.5, 76.1, 80.2 and 81.0). We suggest to make biological tests that allow to determine the including levels in pig rations of the integrated plant of the most promissory legumes according to nitrogen in vitro digestibility and the legumes that offer the guatest advantages on the agronomic point of view
