In the context of the north-east of Kazakhstan 14 buckwheat varieties studied Ka- zakhstan and the Belarusian selection. We select the most productive varieties line E-7015, Carmen, Nine, Shortandy 4 (L-84), Shortandy 3 (L-95). According to the results of environmental and industrial grade variety trials Nine proposed for transfer to the state variety testing in Kazakhstan

In the review, the basic features of buckwheat were discussed which limited yield growth of this crop. It was shown that breeding of varieties with determinate growth habit allowed significantly increase buckwheat yield in Russia. To stabilize grain production, it is necessary to create high-yielding and early ripening varieties with determinate growth habit. New perspectives in breeding for e ...

It was demonstrated that decrease of ratio of seed dresser TMTD to 50% and 75% with in- crustation of seeds of buckwheat variety Ballada promotes increase of seed germination rate from 3 up to 5%. At the average, during 3 years of research (1991-1993) surplus of buckwheat yield over stan- dard in trial variants (Epok + TMTD – 2,1 and 0,5 kg/ton) was from 0,21 to 0,23 ton/ha, and (Water- sorben ...

Determinant buckwheat form the Monopodium has increased quantity of reproductive branches on the main shoot, from 7 to 15 and above, the attribute is supervised recessive-monogenetic by the dm allele. The data is displayed, allowing to judge alternativeness of properties of Monopodium in comparison to widely used in selection the determinant form, supervised by the d allele. In selection proce ...

In our country considerable sowing areas are occupied by entomophilous crops: common buckwheat, rape, mustard, coriander, clover, etc. Yield of their seeds substantially depends on pollinators. Undoubtedly, in pollinating of many crops the essential role is played by a melliferous bee. At pollinating by bees yield increases on cotton plants on 20-25 %, on buckwheat – on 30-60 %, and on clover ...

Analysis of the germination of seeds of dicotyledonous soybean, buckwheat, hemp plants in vitro allowed us to identify common methodological approaches in recording the initial stages. Critical points of swelling success, soaking temperature and swelling degree test the duration of the soaking phase. As a criterion for the effectiveness of swelling and incubation parameters, the ability to ger ...
