A Preliminary Efficacy Study of Mocap for the Control of Castnia daedalus Cramer in Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.).

Mocap 10 G, a contact insecticide/namaticide was screened in respect of dosage to control Castnia daedalus in dwarf coconut palms. Three different dosages were screened in this experiment viz. 15 gram, 20 gram and 25 gram Mocap per palm. Manual application of 15 gr. Mocap 10 G/palm appeared to be very successful in the control of Castnia daedalus.
