Experimental work covered the period 2006 – 2008. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of time of sowing in winter forage pea on the productivity of forage, grain and protein during two-cut harvesting crops. Studied variants: A - the first date of sowing (25-30 IX); C - second date of sowing (10-15 X); C - the third date of sowing (25-30 X); K - control (10-15 X). First regrowth of green mass was harvesting in a phase buttoning - 25% of flowering. Second regrowth of green mass - in milky ripeness of the grain. Controls: for forage – once in phase milky ripeness, for grain - in technical maturity. It was found that during two-cut harvesting winter pea variety 'Mir' for the production of both fodder and forage + grain, the optimum time for sowing is mid-October. The total yield of forage is 28.8% higher compared to once harvest pea. The resulting grain yield of second cut (186,6 kg/da) is again the highest in the second date of sowing. At the same time of sowing and two-cut harvesting of pea (forage + forage), the total yield of crude protein is 26.43% higher than control harvesting only once for forage. During the two-cut harvesting (forage + grain) the total yield of crude protein increased by 43.56%, as compared to the control harvesting only once for grain.
