In spite of applying specific prophylaxis the occurrence of avian infectious bronchitis (AIB) caused by Coronavirus is progressively increasing. It is difficult to use antiviral drugs for treatment this disease in commercial poultry breeding. The effectiveness of suppressing reproduction of the AIB virus in bronchi and trachea of 2-week broiler chickens with Triviron based on synthetic ribonuclease was studied. The broilers were treated with an aerosol of 1% solution of this drug 3 times with an interval of 1 day with exposure of 10, 20, 40 or 60 min in a dose of 3ml/m3. The control group included 7 chickens; each of 4 test groups included 6 chickens. A statistically significant decrease in the concentration of the agent after the treatment of the chicks was established within 40 min. To estimate the aerosol accessibility with a drop diameter of about 10 um, the dynamics of accumulation of aerosol particles of marker DNA molecules in the trachea and bronchi was studied. The yield of the growth curve of the concentration of DNA marker on the plateau in the trachea began after 20 min exposure of the aerosol with. After a 40 min exposure the concentration of marker DNA in the bronchi increased. The coincidence of the dynamics of accumulation of aerosol particles in the bronchi and trachea with data on the reduction in the concentration of the IBC virus at different exposure confirms the consistency of the developed model for evaluating the effect of Trivirone
on the AIB virus in the body of broiler chickens. The preparation and the method of its application are recommended for the treatment and prevention of AIV in broiler chickens.
