The present study was undertaken to determine the necessary data for cranial capacity in the Indian camel (Camelus dromedarius). The average cranial capacity of Indian camel was more than that of dog, pig and ox but less than that of buffalo. It had significant positive correlation with the skull width, length, base length, weight; cranial length, width; length of cranial cavity; orbital capacity; interorbital distance mandibular length and weight at 1% level of significance. However, at 5% level it was correlated with cranial height, orbital width and orbital area
