Stomata-staining method to decrease dyeing stages and time was improved by changing from Safarnin O and Aniline blue to animal histological stains and studying the suitable sage to stain stomatal cells of Pterocarpus macrocarpus Kurz and Tradescantia spathacea Swartz. The best result was the method of Weigert's hematoxylin with ferric chloride, a mordant, at 4 min that could be clearly studied internal structures of stomata and the stain was not changed to be dried at 45 deg C for weeks. Besides the stomata, it will be tested for other plant tissues to find the appropriate stage of the modified method for permanent slides of many plants.
