The purpose of this study was to identify the causal relationships among organizational learning, transformative leadership, learning culture and social networks in a small and medium enterprises(SMEs). For this purpose, this study set up the hypothetical model and analyzed the influence of the transformative leadership, learning culture and social networks on organizational learning, and also analyzed the mediation effects of learning culture and social networks. The target population for this study was the SMEs in Korea which had over 5 regular employees and the age of establishing was over 3 years in the manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, and service areas. The survey were given to a random sample of 150 SMEs(900 people). To estimate parameters of proposed research model, partial least square(PLS) path modeling was employed and the ICC values were used to justify aggregating individual-level data to organizational-level units. All data analysis was accomplished using the SPSS 18.0-Win statistics packages and Visual PLS. Determining significance was an alpha level of 5%. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) the hypothetical causal model of this study was suitable to empirical analysis on research variables; 2) transformative leadership and learning culture in SMEs had positive direct effect on organizational learning but social networks had negative direct effect on organizational learning; 3) transformative leadership had indire
ct effect on organizational learning with the mediation of learning culture and social networks; 4) learning culture had no indirect effect on organizational learning with the mediation of social networks.
