An analysis of the relationship among agricultural high school students¡¯ stress factor, cellular phone addiction and maladjustment behavior [2014]

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among agriculture high school students stress, cellular phone addiction and school maladjustment. For the purpose, this study surveyed 411 selected agricultural high school students in Chungcheongnam-do and Jeollanam-do. The data analysis was carried out by SPSS Window 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 statistical program. The results of the research were as follows. Academic stress, friendship stress, teacher-school stress correlate with a cellular phone addiction and school maladjustment. Academic stress, friendship stress had a direct influence on a cellular phone addiction, and academic stress, friendship stress, teacher-school stress also had a direct effect on maladjustment in school. Friendship stress had a indirect influence on school maladjustment which was mediated by a cellular phone addiction. The lower was academic stress, the lower school maladjustment. On the other hand, teachers-school stress had no indirect influence on school maladjustment mediated by a cellular phone addiction.
