Decontamination of drainage waters in the process of vegetable growing by means of low-volume hydroponics  [2011]

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the results of the researches on the decontamination of wastewater at greenhouse complex by products of electrochemical activation. The article analyzes the effectiveness of decontamination of drainage in different ways, particularly by using ultraviolet. As a result of realized studied it was concluded that for the provision of the efficiency of decontamination with the help of ultraviolet irradiation it was necessary to realize to realize constant technological observation of the decontamination system and servicing of ultraviolet lamps. A method of decontamination of drainage waters by products of electrochemical activation rendered high antimicrobial effect against G-ve bacteria Esherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. Decontamination with products of electrochemical activation of strains of microorganisms of fungal origin showed their low antimicrobial efficiency.
