In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analysed the influence of mixed fodders with different levels of metabolizable energy and optimized lysine content on productivity of bred swine. Productivity of swine growing stock is determined genetically and is formed under influence of external factors of environment, including housing conditions and feeding systems. Key factors, determining growth speed of swine young stock, appear metabolizable energy and protein. Changes of the level of metabolizable energy in rations should be followed by changes of number of other nutritive elements, proteins and amino acids. Lysine appears the most essential amino acid, responsible for feeds nutritive value. Influence of compound feeds with different levels of metabolizable energy and optimized lysine content on productivity of swine growing stock is analyzed. Composition and nutritive value of experimental compound feeds for piglets is evaluated. Main indexes of productivity of experimental piglets are researched. The most important characteristics of control slaughter of experimental animals are analyzed. Composition of meat of piglets is presented. The results of the experiment on determining the level of metabolizable energy when fodder lysine is used to the utmost by swine (Yorkshire x Landrace) show that their maximum performance is reached when the content of metabolizable energy in 1 kg of fodder is 13.8, 13.4 and 13.4 MJ, of lysine - 0.8, 0.71 per 1
MJ of metabolizable energy for the period of growing, the early and the late fattening periods.
