Food is one of the items covering more than 50% of the total costs of milk production, which asks for new forage alternatives that are economically viable and that provide a rational content of nutrients to the dairy herd. This research was conducted at the Experimental Center FEDEPAPA, Obonuco, a county of Pasto; the study allowed to evaluate the quality of milk production by implementing balanced diets based on grass kikuyu (Pennisetum Clandestinum), using potato waste supplementation (Solanum tuberosum) and foliage of black wattle (Acacia decurrens). It was used a design of a randomized complete block, consisting of five treatments and three blocks set with three repetitions each, and we worked with a homogeneous group of 15 animals of the holstein breed, over a period of 50 days. The treatments were T0: grazing + concentrate 4 kg + 200 g Molasses (Control), T1: grazing + potatoes 1 kg + black wattle 2 kg + 200 g molasses, T2: grazing + potatoes 2 kg + black wattle 3 kg + 200 g molasses, T3: grazing + potatoes 3 kg + black wattle 4 kg + 200 g molasses, T4: grazing + potatoes 4 kg + black wattle 5 kg + 200g molasses.
