The purpose of this study was to investigate the type and incidence of equine dental abnormalities in Latvia and correlation with horses' age as well as correlation between different pathologies. 645 cases were included in the study. Equine dental pathologies in Latvia are a common occurrence (99.7% of horses had one or more abnormality). No correlation found between sharp enamel points and soft tissue lacerations. There is a high correlation between caudal/rostral hooks and horses' age. Older horses had more hooks, and this was a linear correlation.
