The main aim of these projects was to investigate the deformation, strength and stability characteristics of carbon plastic reinforced cylindrical concrete column. In the framework of the project at the Institute of Polymer Mechanics of the University of Latvia in previously years started experimental investigations on different configuration composite materials weaving impact on concrete column properties have been continued. Then establish that composite material winding essentially (till yet 3 times) increase concrete column strength and load carrying capacity. However, for wrapped concrete columns at the great loads nonlinear deformation curve have been creating that can to cause slender column instability at the increased loads.
