Gross anatomy of digestive system of Japanese quails (Coturnix japonica) of different age groups viz., 4, 8 greater than 12 weeks was investigated. The esophagus length was 55.14 plus minus 3.76, 59.86 plus minus 1.21, 129.71 plus minus 5.35 mm in the three groups respectively and was significantly higher in group C as compare to other age groups. The crop width and diameter, the length and greater width of proventriculus. The weight, breath circumference of gizzard the length of ileum and length of right and left ceaca followed the same pattern.
