Conducted studies concern inflorescences, stems and leaves of Dictamnus albus L. Structure of secretory tissues was studied using light microscopy and scanning electronic microscopy. Quantitative and qualitative composition of essential oil was studied using GC/MS technique whereas furanocoumarins were analysed using chromatographic metods. It was stated that in stems and leaves there appear subepidermal essential oil receptacles of similar structure. On the surface of all flower elements and the stems in the region of inflorescence there are lying discovered excretional glands with different morphology. Essential oil content is higher in inflorescences than in stems and leaves. It was shown also the differences in theirs chemical composition. The existence of fouranocoumarine compounds in the herb of dittany, with xanthotoxin, imperatorin, psoralen, bergapten, isopimpinelin was confirmed
