Catchment lag time, defined as the elapsed time between the occurrence of the centroids of the effective rainfall and the direct runoff hydrograph, has been estimated taking into account the recorded rainfall-runoff events and the empirical formulas for four catchments: Zagozdzonka, Gzowka and Skawa catchment (located in Poland), Bauna catchment (located in Germany). On the basis of analysis for every four catchments result, that to calculate lag time in ungauged catchments we can apply SCS equation, Nash equation and Kennedy and Watt equation
