Resume of microwave pasteurization for liquid food

In our days the industrial application of microwave energy is limited by the uncertainty of energy dissipation and by the lack of information on reactions except thermic effects. For years now our research group has been dealing with the development of a device that can provide controlled and homogeneous heating, making the investigation non-thermic effects possible. This paper focuses on introducing measuring circles that are suitable for continuous microwave treatments. All the circles introduced in this article are appropriate for the investigation of the heating of liquid material, for the pasteurization of liquid food products and for the examination of non-thermic effects.
