The purpose of the research was to study feeds nutrients digestibility, feeds safety and reproductive ability of ducks fed with mixed feeds enriched with Zeolite. The study was conducted in the Republic of Bashkortostan. A control and an experimental group consisting of 160 ducks and 40 drakes of 150 days of age each were formed. The birds of both groups were kept under similar conditions of care and management. The birds of the control group were fed the basic ration, consisting of fullvalue mixed feeds, the ducks and drakes of the experimental group were fed the ration supplemented with Zeolite of Baimak deposit in the dose of 3.5% of the mixed feed weight. The inclusion of Zeolite into the mixed feeds had positive impact on the nutrients digestibility and reproductive abilities of ducks. Analysis of findings obtained showed that the digestibility index of protein in ducks and drakes of the experimental group aged 260 days was higher as compared to the control group by 0.9% and 0.6%, that of fat by 0.4–0.1% and fiber by 1.5–1.2%, respectively. By the utilization of nitrogen, phosphorus and calcium the males and females of the experimental group surpassed the birds of the same age in the control group by 0.5±1.1%, 1.0–1.2% and 1.6–1.3%, respectively. The live weight of birds in the experimental group was higher with age than that in the control one by 87 g (0.5%) and 143 g (2.5%). Over the period of egglaying the ducks of the experimental group produced 1
822 eggs more and of higher quality as compared to their analogues in the control group. The hatchability of healthy ducklings in the experimental group was 6.3% higher than in the control group. Inclusion of Zeolite to mixed feeds of ducks is recommended as it improves digestibility indicators of birds in terms of feed nutrients and reproductive abilities of ducks.
