The National Agricultural Library is one of four national libraries of the United States, with locations in Beltsville, Maryland and Washington, D.C. The author presents her view of the quality of nutrition education of physicians, concentrating on the education of students in medical school. She reports on the status of nutrition education in the medical school curriculum at the Medical College of Georgia, in the Southeastern Medical Nutrition Education Network and on the national scene. The future goals of nutrition education for physicians is also discussed.
