With the objective of evaluating the knowledge of the workers in their productive acting were carried out exams to 8 swinish farms of them 4 with production destination to the tourism and the remaining ones 4 with commercial destination, belonging to the counties of Pinegrove of the River, Santi Spiritus, Camagüey, Granma, The Tunas and Holguín, in the period understood from March 20 to May 13 of the one year 2000. 65% of those interviewed was technical and 35% workers. One carries out a comparative study among the units with program I dedicate tourism and with commercial destination in the areas of Reproduction, Maternity and Preceba. The data were processed by TTEST of the package statistical SAS (1996) for comparison of two populations' stockings supposing normal distribution and not necessarily of the same sample size. The results of the exams threw that significant difference doesn't exist in the level of the workers' knowledge in the studied production programs. The main difficulties found in the knowledge of the human talents were: ignorance of the appropriate weight to cover the cochinata and in that guard, appropriate moment for the cubrición and handling of the celaje, like he/she should be carried out the readjustment of litters (it regroups), he/she doesn't also restrain like it is determined the childbirths by pigs average and that it measures the numeric productivity. These results reflect that ignorance exists in the techniques of the evalu
ated area. For what you concludes that the training of the workers has a marked influence with the productive results in the swinish farms.
