[Physionomic-structural map of Mexico's vegetation]

إنجليزي. In the present study the main vegetation types of Mexico are described and represented on a 1:4,000,000 scale map on the basis of personal survey. Most of the existing bibliography on Mexico's vegetation, from the latter part of the past century to the present, was consulted. Twenty-one main vegetation types and 10 sub-types have been differentiated on the basis of their distinctive physiognomic and structural characteristics and bioclimatic standards. The principal component species and their distribution are also indicated.

Au cours de cet etude on fait la description, basee sur des observations personnelles, et on represent la distribution, sur une carte a l'echelle 1:4,000,000, des principaux types de vegetation du Mexique. On a revisee la majeur partie de la bibliographie sur la vegetation du Mexique des la fin du siecle passe jusqu'a present. On a distingue types fondamentaux de vegetation et 10 subtypes selon leurs caracteristiques physionomiques et structurales et sur base bioclimatique. Pour chaque type de vegetation on a indique, en autre, les especes principales et leur distribution.
