The authors study the seasonal evolution of oestrogenic isoflavones in natural pastures in the province of Cordoba. The highest proportion of positive samples corresponds to the spring with values approaching 80 p.100 of the samples under survey, whilst the autumn and winter percentages are considerably lower, 11.6 and 4.9 p.100 respectively. The concentrations reach their highest values in spring with figures such as 0.170 p.100 on dry matter, the evolution process kept the same during the two years under survey and at no time did the levels reach any dangerous degree
