During 1975-1978 investigations on some breeding utility features of sows on the farm of "Bisprol" type were carried out. According to the data obtained from 1704 breedings it was found out that the sows delivered at an average birth 9.22 piglets, including 8.96 living ones. The factor of delivery frequency was 2.05. The elements were characterized by the smallest number of living delivered piglets (8.48) and by the longest period of unproductiveness (33.4 days). Further births showed an increase of alive piglets number and reduction of unproductiveness time
