The findings of this study that there are too many pelletizing factories in the country. The characteristics of entrepreneurs of the pelletizing industry are: (1) limited education, (2) they do not believe that business record keeping practices are important for business management, thus they do not keep records, (3) they operate the business as a single proprietor, (4) there is a lack of working capital, (5) there is a market for pellets, and (6) pellets quality is below standard. The pelletizing industry is also directly influenced by the external environment. Given these consideration, the concerned government agencies should take immediate action in limiting the establishment of new factories as well as the expansion of existing factories. The cassava processing industry should be supported and guidelines from the farm level up to the exporting level should be issued. The feed industry should be started and the use of cassava as a major feed material should be promoted
