Rooting ability and plant condition of Anthurium cutting depended on number of leaves, season medium and container. Top cutting of Anthurium, which consists of 3 leaves, produced good root system under mist in sand: rice ash (1.1) medium. The growth of Anthurium was also affected by several factors such as type of container medium, watering method and so on. Anthurium which was planted in sidhole container water once a day tended to produce more flower leaves and growth than the one which was cultivated in non-side-hole container. The larger spathe, more flowers and better growth were observed when brick: coconut husk (1:1) was used as a growing media than brick: Sama saman leaves (1:1) or brick alone. The callus of Anthurium andraeanum var. Kao Nai Wan was cultured in various artificial solid media and incubated under continued fluorescent light for three months. The size of callus was larger in medium containing NAA and coconut milk than those which were cultured in media coantaining BA or 2,4-D, kinetin, PCPA. However, the medium which was supplemented with BA promoted more weight and callus differentiation. The medium which was supplemented with 2,4-D, kinetin, PCPA didn not affect or tend to inhibit callus growth. In addition, the cultured containers, flask, bottle, influenced the growth of callus. The better growth of calli were observed in the flask than in the bottle
