Patch and forket methods of budding, and veneer method of grafting with and without kinetin, were tested. July and August months were optimum time for budding of guava either by patch or forket method. Maximum success of 74% in July under patch budding and 62% in August, under forket budding were obtained. The rate of growth of buddlings was highest in March. June and July were found more suitable than the other months in veneer grafting
