Greta and CEX-69.1 showed resistance to bacterial wilt in the first two evaluations but not in the third test. Shimarbam, Fina, and 378597.1 showed good resistance in the first trial but not in the second. Cosima showed good resistance in the first ahd third evaluations. Grasola and Alpha showed resistance in the second and third evaluation exhibiting resistance over time. Northern gave the highest yield of 12.7 t/ha although 98% of the plants were infected 70 days after planting. Conchita and Red Pontiac were consistently susceptible. Of 52 C1P clones, 14 were selected for superior resistance to BW with BR-69-84 as the resistant control
