Two levels of water capillary capacity 50% and 25% were applied during pot trials. Height of plants, number of branching and pods, weight of mature plants and seeds were investigated. It was stated that genes influencing the rapid growth of the plants had a significant importance for the height of plants both under normal conditions and drought, causing the greater height of plants. Differentiation in homogenous groups under drought conditions appeared independently of the growth rhythm genes
