The paper presents application of the stochastic simulation method for investigation of the flows of arable lands from the individual (small) farms sector to the State Land Fund and vice versa. This study has been aimed at determination for a concrete area (commune), the anticipated size structure of private (small) farms, their amounts and amounts of arable land which, due to the labour potential, may be taken in possession by these farms in a predetermined time horizon.
