A serological survey for the presence of participating antibody to bovine leukemia glycoprotein antigen in apparently 718 healthy dairy cattle showed an incidence of 90.50 percent (140 heads) positive reactors of those tested cattle. hematological studies showed a slight increase of total white blood cells count especially of lymphocytes but had normal total red blood cells and hemoglobin in asymptomatic positive dairy cows. A tremendous increase of total white blood cells particularly of lymphocytes and a marked decrease of total red blood cells and hemoglobin were found in symptomatic positive dairy cows. The plasma sodium. potassium, calcium and total protein of normal dairy cows, asymptomatic positive cows were analysed. The plasma chemical valves were 172.03, 170.60, 112.30 mEq/ L for sodium; 7.66, 5.51 and 7.83 mEq/L for poassium;5.57, 5.34 and 4.09 mEq/L for calcium; 10.57, 12.38 and 16.88 gm% for total protein respectively
