Dumancic, D.
In this paper is concluded that annual production of investigated varieties (Atriplex nummularia, A. halimus, A. canescens) significantly depends firstly on ecological conditions of soil and climate, and especially on annual rainfall quantity and way of produced fodder usage. The average annual production is greatest for variety A. nummularia. The most eatable from these 3 varieties is A. nummularia, then A.canescens, and the worst eatable is A. halimus. The nutritive value of A. halimus is approximately the greatest. The Opuntia ficus indica variety that is offered to sheep only as mixture with 1 type of Atriplex variety proved to be very eatable. The best result in sheep feeding are attained with experimental group which is pastured and as additional feed has gotten 1 type of Atriplex variety; and especielly those which also have gotten 0. ficus indica. The worst results are when sheep are fed only with 1 type of Atriplex variety and are not pastured.
