It was collected on garlic varieties "Rojo de Pedroneras", "Chinchon fino" and "Chinchon basto" and on the wheat variety "Partizanca" in Cuenca and Madrid areas. Data on their biology and control are reviewed. Some predators of P. latens are recorded: larvae of Chrysoperla carnea, larvae and adults of Coccinella septempunctata, nymphs of the mite Abrolophus sp. and adults of the mite Tarsolarkus sp. Two predator mites of R. echinopus were also found in the field: Parasitus sp. and Hypoaspis sp.
