One hundred genital organs of local breed of does were classified into follicular, early metoestrus and luteal phases, and anoestrus. The height of uterine epithelium and thickness of Lamina propria were least in anoestrous. The height of uterine epithelium tended to increase from follicular to luteal phase. The number and diameter of acini increased in the luteal phase diameter. The mean height of epithelial lining of the folds of the oviduct was higher during the follicular and early metoestrus phases. This is considered to be an oestrogen-induced change
