Walnuts are widely grown and occupy considerable acreage under cultivation in Himachal Pradesh. During the survey for diseases of temperate fruit plants in May, 1987, at the Regional Station, Simla, two plants of walnut (Juglans regia L.) among exotic collection were showing foliage symptoms of mottling. Diseased plants exhibited stunted growth followed by reduction in leaf size
