Effect of some petroleum derivatives on the hydrolic properties of soil and the corn (Zea mays L.) (in Iraq)
1983
Al-Debaji, A.S.O.
It can be concluded from this study that the effect of petroleum derivatives on the hydrophysical properties of soil and on plant growth was as follows: 1-Addition of petroleum derivatives increased the stability of soil aggregates of water. 2-Petroleum derivatives increased the soil water content so that will decrease the water losses either by deep percolation or by evaporation. 3-Petroleum derivatives effected the plant growth and this affect could be positive if we add the proper level especially for bitumen emulsion
