Results showed that paired pigeons kept in cages significantly laid more eggs, produced more squabs, consumed more feed, had better feed conversion efficiency, and were more profitable to raise than pigeons kept in communal fly-pens. No significant differences were observed on hatchability, livability, growth rate and dressing percentage between squabs raised in cages or communal fly-pens. Pigeons fed commercial pigeon pellets performed slightly better than the pigeons on mash feed formulations
