The noxious insects attacking mulberry were Lepidoptera (common cutworm, tussock caterpillar, Bihar hairy caterpillar, leafroller); Hemiptera (mealybug, mulberry scale, mulberry sucker and planthopper); Coleoptera (leaf mining beetle, flea beetle, and leaf beetle, and mulberry small weevil); Orthoptera (bush catydid).
