Numerically, ammonium sulphate gave the best result over urea, complete (14-14-14) and ammonium phosphate. No significant differences were observed among the treatments in terms of days to tasseling, leaf area index, plant height at harvest, diameter of ear, length of ear, weight per ear, stover yield, and yield per plot
