The paper presents some of the results obtained at S.C.P.C.S.Z. - Brasov concerning the relation between the laboratory germination and the field emergence of some monogerm and multigerm sugar beet varieties; it also presents the seeding possibilities and precision of these varieties depending on seed size, seed bed preparation, soil humidity and seeding distance.
