13 euploid hybrid strains (2n=42) (E1-E13) were selected in 57 BC1Fs and BC1F6 hybrid strains derived from the succesive self-crossing of (Triticum aestivum c.v. Chinese Spring X Hordeum bulbosum) F1 X Triticum aestivum c.v. monosomic 5B of Chinese Spring) BC1F1 using chromosomal observation in this study. The morphological observation showed that they were obviously different in characters of spike and plant at seedling and maturity as well as in plant height, heading period and so on. Some selections which had useful agronomical characters such as dwarf, big spike, high protein content, resistance to wheat yellow mosaic virus disease and so on, were obtained. In these strains there were four meiotic chromosome configurations, that is, low and high frequent univalents as well as low and high frequent tetravalents.
