Report of the research concerning residual mineral nitrogen in soil rooting profil

Successive observation on the dynamics of residual mineral nitrogen in soil rooting profile (0-100 cm) in four years. The results were shown: (a) NO3-N took large proportion of Nmin in upland and the general trend of dynamics for NO3-N was the same as that of Nmin. Therefore NO3-N content can be used to characterize the dynamics of Nmin and the level of soil available N in upland. (b) The amount and dynamics of Nmin were affected greatly by fertilization of N and P, irrigation, precipitation and uptake of crop.
