The role of the vegetable oils in the domestic alimentations [Hungary]

The excessive cholesterol- resp. triglyceride-level of the blood, the hyperlipidaemy are very important risk-factors for cardiac and blood-vessel diseases, for obesity. In order to prevent resp. to cure these phenomena foreign experts recommend: 1. The quantity of energy by the fat intake must not exceed the 30 of the total energy consumed. 2. The ratio between quantities of saturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids consumed has to be 1, 3. The daily cholesterol intake must not exceed 300 mg.
