Realization of the research results achieved in the cultivation of oil-seed plants [sunflower, rape, Hungary]

The authors expound the research-results achieved at the two most important plants for the vegetable oil industry, the sunflower and rape. They state that for sunflower the choice of biological bases is large, for materials in the general cultivation, however, the resistance against the most possible mycosis must be an important aspect. They deal with the problems of optimal sowing stem-number and of fertilization as well as with the convenient dosing of herbicides. In the rape cultivation one has as object the domestication resp. domestic improving of modern, high productive, double-zero varieties, in addition to low germ-number sowing, the spring fertilization by high N dose and institution of the cultivator-mark method against damages caused by animals.
