Yield response and quality of sweet pepper are always related to the proper supply and balance of nutrient. This experiment was aimed to evaluate the effect of ten types of nutrient formula on the growth and yield components of that crop in sand culture. The results showed that only two of those formulas gave significant response on growth and yield, i.e. formula number 8 and 10. However, in general the nutrient requirement were increasing from vegetative to reproductive stages, i.e. + 250 and approximately 325 ml/day/plant respectively.
