Findings of this study showed the following: the most prevalent cropping patterns for rice-based were the TPR [tobacco, peanut-rice]-mungbean, TPR-tobacco and TPR-TPR for both introduced and farmer's pattern while in the corn based, the corn-corn and corn-corn + peanut were the most prevalent. There were generally high yields in the introduced patterns than in the farmer's practice. The farmers improved their income as a result of higher yields by adopting the technologies. Farmers generally increased in all their household performances. Farmers greatly depended on family savings rather than banks and lending institutions for their farm capital. Farmers sold about 90-99 percent of their shares in the form of cash after harvest. Majority of the farmers were interested to continue as cooperators as a product of the understanding of the technologies introduced.
