1986
Domanski, J. | Tratwal, R. (Akademia Rolnicza, Poznan (Poland). Zaklad Oceny Surowcow Pochodzenia Zwierzecego)
The average body weight of animals slaughtered in 1976 to 1981 was 119.3 kg and mean age at slaughter - 271 days. The carcass lean content basing on specific gravity of ham was determined. The highest lean content was found in animals slaughtered at the weight range 101-110 kg. The slaughter weight of pigs was related significantly to warm carcass weight, ham weight, and carcass length. No relationships between slaughter weight of pigs and chemicophysical parameters of their meat were found. The optimal slaughter weight of White Zlotnicka pigs was 101-120 kg
