Discusses soil loss studies conducted during the last 20 years in Trinidad and Tobago and tabulates the soil loss values for Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean. Soil erosion models used to show the relationship between the causes of erosion and measures which can be taken to reduce erosion are reported. Further studies on erodibility and soil loss are recommended
